 Team Canada and Team Scotland to Compete!
Team Canada’s Jennifer Jones foursome leads the list of world class teams competing at this year’s Sobeys Slam. She will compete against such formidable talent as Team Scotland’s Eve Muirhead, the 2010 World Silver Medalists, 2010 Scotties runners up, Kathy O’Rourke of PEI, whom Jones defeated in the Canadian final last year. Also vying to win the $12,000 first prize and making her return to competitive play, will be 2 time World Champion, Colleen Jones of Halifax, NS, as well as reigning World Senior Champion Colleen Pinkney of Truro, NS. The 24-team event will feature all four Atlantic Provincial Champions, as well as the reigning Saskatchewan and Alberta provincial champs, Amber Holland and Valerie Sweeting.
